The Natural Cork
Floating Floor system is comprised of one- by three-foot (nominal)
planks consisting of three layers.
The surface layer is
100% high density cork, with 5 coats of UV-cured acrylic
finish which contains no volatile organic compounds.
The middle layer with pre-cut tongue and
groove featuring CLIC technology is a waterproof exterior-grade fiberboard.
The base layer of attached cork underlayment provides significant acoustic
insulation.
CLIC System = Floating flooring planks with a built in CLIC system. The
CLIC system just clicks together with the use of a tapping block. No adhesive is used. The seams are tight
enough to not need polyurethane or a finishing kit after installation.

glueless installation. Manufactured with Acrodur from BASF to eliminate
harmful ingredients such as phenol, formaldehyde, and isocyanates from the
binding process significantly reducing the level of emissions without
compromising the performance of the cork floor.

Charges: The total freight charge for the cork flooring shipment is $89 when shipped to a
commercial address or $189 to a residential address when shipped within the contiguous
United States. In order to prevent the shopping
cart from charging freight for each carton, we add a shipping charge

Installation For Cartons That Are 17.6 Sq Ft
Tapping
Block - A tool used to install the clicking system floating flooring.
(This will be necessary in order to install the click floating flooring
for only the 17.6 square foot cartons.
Using a different type of taping block may damage the planks.)
Note: A circular saw,
table saw, or other cutting device used to cut wooden flooring can be used
to cut these planks.
The clic system planks do not need a polyurethane coating.
Maintenance -
Maintenance of cork flooring is just like maintaining wood floors. Use
products that were made to maintain wooden floors. We recommend staying away
from the wax products. They are ok to use on these floors. However, when it
comes time needing to add a new coat of polyurethane to the floor, you will
need to make sure that all of the wax has been stripped before applying a
new coat. If any is left on the floor, the floor finish will not look as
good.
